Heads for Trails is a free, run fitness group coaching service designed to equip people with the tools they need to get out in the hills, running. It exists as an effective way of managing mental wellbeing through movement in nature.
The sessions will cover efficient, mindful running technique, simple strength and conditioning exercises, basic navigation skills, and short, off-road runs. These sessions are suitable for absolute beginners as they will be based around the Couch-to-5k format.
Heads for Trails Run Club organises social runs of varying distances. Done at a nice, leisurely pace they are the perfect opportunity to chat, soak up the scenery, or simply enjoy the calm.
Heads for Trails Walking Group is for those for whom running does not appeal. Similar to the run club, they are informal, leisurely strolls in a relaxing, friendly environment.
