Coming Soon!
Running saved me. Yes, I know that sounds overly dramatic but it’s true. It’s one of the few activities that quietens my ever-busy mind and puts me in the moment. It’s cathartic. I am also aware that the hardest part of a run is getting out of the front door. This can be made even more challenging when the last thing you feel like doing is being kind to yourself. You may need help with motivation but find the idea of joining a club or finding someone to run with far too intimidating, overwhelming, or committing.
My vision is to start a coaching service focussing on efficient running technique to equip people with the tools they need to take control of their mental well-being, enabling them to hit the trails in confidence. A service that is fully-funded and therefore free at the point of use so that money is one less barrier to worry about. I just want to get people out there, on the trails, moving forwards both physically and mentally.
UPDATE:
I now have my UK Athletics Leader in Running Fitness (LiRF) licence and I am working towards the Fell Runners Association Off-road module. I have also enrolled on the Mountain Leader scheme. I am receiving business coaching from The SAMEE Project, and I’m aiming to launch TWR Coaching in the autumn of this year. It’s slow progress but it’s happening.
MORE EXCITING NEWS!
TWR Coaching will be launching the initiative under the name Heads for Trails.
